Defining the community as finitely as possible is key to a well-targeted and fiscally responsible community relations program. Are the communities defined geographically, politically, socially or by other demographics?

Once communities are defined, planning begins. When Ward Creative Communications crafts a community relations program, we look to create lasting and meaningful relationships between the client organization and the people in the communities identified. We don’t believe drive-by or drive-through community relations efforts provide lasting value to a client. Rather, we strive to get the client in communication and relationship with these communities in a way that fosters an open dialogue and commitment to cooperation for the long term.
